Who has not been going around in getting to square an image designed for your Facebook or LinkedIn cover? Well, almost everyone! And the truth, it drives you crazy.
In this blog, you will have all the measures you were looking for each social platform. However, and I recommend it, it would be much easier, more comfortable and professional to use a design platform that already has its templates for each social network. We, in Online-Ads and for our campaigns, work with Canva.
This platform of pre-designed designs (or blank templates for the more creative ones) already provides you with the measurements according to the social network you choose. It will help you quickly create and use the images, covers, photos, and even videos like you never imagined. A really useful tool!
Still, in case you’re looking for a specific measurement, below you’ll find a complete guide covering image measurements according to the social 😊 network.

1. Images for Facebook
The Facebook cover photo is the first image your business visitors see. So, why not use photos of your products or services that represent your company?
Representative Facebook conversations start with great content. Use your Facebook cover photo and images for your news feeds to encourage engagement. Be sure to include images that catch your audience’s attention.
We have already seen that the list of sizes on Facebook is endless. That’s why I’ve divided it into two categories: Page and Events. It is important to know or understand why there are so many size variations on Facebook.
It’s not that Facebook has done it to annoy us, although I’ve thought about it more than once when I started moving around its platform. The reason is due to the variation in the use of different devices.
And if you think about it well, it has its logic.
You can navigate on a computer or laptop where the screen is horizontal (wide), while navigating on your mobile phone the screen changes to vertical (tall).
That explains the variation of measurements in your images according to the device from which you browse. Plus, instead of stretching your creatives, Facebook cuts them out!
